I think you posted pictures of Nuka earlier in the thread - a beautiful, sweet looking girl. Hopefully one of the cats will let you cry on it without much fuss. I still get misty-eyed when I think about the last pet we had to put down and that was ten years ago. The real cost of having animals in your life is the emotional one at the end, but the good, however long it is, is so good and life is so enriched, for both pet and owner, it's totally worth it. If any flavour of ridiculous or sweet pet picture would brighten things up for you right now, just say the word man.

This fucking dork is named Chad. He was a huge fatty when I adopted him and tries his hardest to gain all that weight back by stealing food. Helium balloons are his nemeses. He's my first pet and is clearly the best cat ever.
