Alright, so it's not exactly the same thing, it's designed for the Game Boy Color and not game controllers, but hey. Thought it was cool and wanted to share.

It's like a cell phone holster from before cell phones were a thing. I can just imagine two kids meeting on the playground, glaring eachother in the eye and quickdrawing their copies of Pokemon Silver.
