I love the podcast. I've listened to the majority of them multiple times. However, there are just a few that I've never been able to bring myself to listen to just because of Reasons. Most of these reasons are about alimentary-related stuff, so gainers, vore and anything excrement-related (omoroshi and adult babies) are right out for me, as is the burp section of Mix'd Nuts. Oddly, the FA one didn't bother me that much, mainly because there was less focus on the fat process, I suppose. Am I just a wimp, or do any of you guys have episode you just can't hack the subjects of?

I was fine throughout the recording and the bumpers but I still haven't listened all the way through the Sissykiss episode.

I've listened to every episode. In fact, I think I've listened to every episode at least three times. I have nothing better to do I guess. After so many years among likemined weirdos there is very little that I simply cannot stomach, although that episode of Lou Reads about people cumming on food managed to defeat me.

Same with Runic I put them on when I'm playing games so I cant take the cowards way out and stop the episode the first time after that its easier.

I have to drink myself into a stupor just to do any of the reading bits. Those ones I've editted have required me to be on really impressive and intense benders; I must be doing an okay job of it because nobody's complained yet.

There aren't really any that I've been unable to finish (I
blame thank years of looking at crazy shit on the internet) but I think the episode I have the most difficulty getting through is "She Thinks my Sex are Spexy". It's the weird paralysis fetish and the blood transfusion stuff that gets touched on that just makes my skin crawl for some reason.

I've been able to survive them all to date. Sissykiss broke me at first but I picked myself up and powered through it. The fuckdoll episode was a close second, and I see that "That Episode" has just been released, so I'm diving in headlong and downloading it, thankful that I've been able to listen to every full episode to date just before then (In case you were curious, the episode I most recently listened to was the Pokégirls episode, so I am somewhat insulated and ready to go.)

Honestly, I think after surviving the bug episode just now I'm actually gonna have to go back to "Achtung! Adult Babies" just to cleanse my palate. The ridiculists weren't kidding when they informally called it That Episode.
And I have to agree, the ultra-angry bedroom talk in the frottage episode still cracks me up. "KISS!!!!! BACK!!!!!!"

It took me more than a few attempts to get through the adult babies, omorashi, and body mod episodes. But the one I really cant stomach is uneducation. It pisses me off so fucking much to know people can be so stupid that I just can't.

I've only just gotten She Thinks my Spex are Sexy to download properly, and I haven't heard the new one yet, but otherwise I've listened to them all. I'm just inured to gross shit at this point, and while I'm enraged by stuff like uneducation, I find it truly cathartic to have the piss taken out of it. Seriously, that one left me feeling morally righteous and a lot better about some of the shit I saw in Crazy Fundie School.
If you ever do an episode about spit, though, I'll have to bow out. My being able to watch a BDSM slave lick a toilet in a documentary without flinching and while enjoying the disgust of others, but having to put my head on my desk and cover my ears during a video of a man spitting into a cup and drinking it again (I gagged writing that) was a source of endless amusement for my psych teacher. I don't know what it is, it's just POW straight to the heaves.
ETA: I swear to God, on every forum I've ever been on, it's been the absolute worst posts I make that break a new page. I don't know how to stop it.

i don't think it's that the posts starting a new page are inheritly terrible so much as it is being the first post on a new page makes you feel kinda self concious about what you said, since it's the thing most likely to be read by people clicking around.

that said, i almost didn't make it through the CHOCOLATE EATING MONSTER episode because i have issues with food and force feeding makes me pretty sick to even think about. but i soldiered on.
i think i might have tapped out on 'i can't put up with you people because you're bastard people' but that was less because the content bothered me and more because it just didn't grab me. i think i paused it to do something and never resumed listening. i guess people being angry on the internet over dumb shit is just kinda old hat...? and yet fetishes aren't, go figure that double standard out somehow.

A fun game with that one is to listen to it and Demonbusters back-to-back. The sheer idiocy on both sides of the spectrum cancels itself out, leaving the listener with a vague sense of amused confusion.

I've been able to handle listening through every episode, and some of the more unsavory ones are actually up there in my favorites for being proportionately funny to their horribleness.
That said, I could only listen to the Doublegay Conservaganza short once. Homophobia is hard for me to listen to, even when it's Conservapedia-tier outlandish and being made fun of, thanks to real life circumstances. In particular, it's the bit on the "Homosexual Bait-and-Switch" that I can't handle, since it's pretty clear that they're talking about transgender individuals who come out to their trusted partner as trans (typically to avoid complications or violent reactions if they want to have a sexual relationship), not evil conniving homosexuals trying to trick our poor straight men into the homosex. Without that subtext the segment would be pretty spurious, but given how many real world trans people get murdered over people thinking shit like that, I can't really laugh at the content of that episode.

You see, I disagree. I think they really are talking about gay men dressing in drag over months and years to get straight men to commit to long-term relationships where sex somehow never comes up as a topic of discussion. Then the gay men reveal they're actually men and the straighty is I guess just supposed to throw up his hands and go "oh well, we're already married, I might as well become gay."
In other words, no, they really are being that stupid.

There's conservative sorts who think that mathematical proofs are some manner of liberal plot, and if they're being ironic they've been invested in this "irony" for years now. A lot of episodes, especially the ones where the people being featured sound fairly young, give me really intense second-hand embarrassment, but it's never been so bad that I've had to stop listening. I was a stupid, self-absorbed teenager who also happened to be something of a musical child prodigy (no, seriously - Ask Me About My First Professional Tour Which Happened When I Was 11*), so the Sub-Sub-Pop episode just made me cringe really hard.
But the only one I've had to outright stop listening to was the most recent one. I'm severely phobic of bugs, so I mean, I don't really know what I expected. I thought it would be uncomfortable in a funny sort of way, but it was just kind of terrifying to me.
*Like most former child prodigies, I dropped the thing I was prodigious at as soon as I became old enough to make my own decisions, and now live a pretty mundane life, which is awesome.

A delayed answer there: I never thought she had something traumatic in her childhood, at least that's not the impression I'd got. I'm disinclined to make light of genuine tragedy.
So I can remain on-topic: in fear of sounding like I'm bragging, there hasn't been a single topic that's really bothered me. Part of this, however, is due to a stupidly competitive streak. If others are trying to make me uncomfortable, I'll fight back* until I've hit my absolute limit. Almost invariably, it's turned out my limits are much higher than most.
* This backfires. While I'm not interested in men, I would regularily play "homosexual chicken". The last time I did this my 'victim' was a man who'd climbed out of the closet just a month ago. We had a laugh over it and I conceded victory. I admit I quite deserved to get punched, though.

I feel like a traitor since this is such a favorite, but I'll confess: I only barely made it through the Transformers fic ep. The culminating "AND THEN"s were funny to most of my brain, but the literary part of it just started screaming and wouldn't stop after a certain point. I was absurdly relieved when it was over. Talk about bugs in dicks and dirty adult diapers and Bronies all you want, but good God, I cannot take repetitive bad grammar. Vogon fucking poetry, man.

I will happily plow through any and all of the weird or disgusting fetishes, but the unschooling episode was actually super uncomfortable for me - I was homeschool, borderline-almost "unschooled", and it was all disquietingly familiar. Actually, I can't be certain but I think Dar may have been the mother of a kid who used to play with around age 8... they moved so much I can't really be certain, but if it's not her then that means there are two or more unschooling single-mother families with a mother named Dar and a daughter into theatre who goes by "Rain".

I had a spate of insomnia last night and ended up thinking about this thread and wondering why terrifying female genitalia body mods aren't as common, and why they seem to be functional rather than fashionable--the only totally arbitrary ones I can think of involve the labia. Is there just something about having your junk in front of you all the time that makes you go "You know what this needs? To be utterly traumatized with horrible semi-medical devices" or what? God, I can't even begin to untangle the reasoning.

It really is. As you say, the majority of genital piercings are functional (in theory). Most shaft piercings are done with a "ribbed for her pleasure" mentality in mind, prince alberts are supposed to increase sensitivity, just like the clit hood piercing. And for every guy that's ventured out and done something terrible to his penis, there's at least one lady doing something equally awful to her business.

I actually find the body mod episode hilarious, but that's probably because I don't have a dick that could hypothetically be mutilated. The episodes I have the biggest problem with are the Stupid And Entitled ones. Unschooling, that demon kid, multiples, and PUAs are all territory I either will never listen to again or never bothered to in the first place. They just irritate the fuck out of me (although the FA one is an exception, weirdly enough). That, and I will concede that the bug episode was the point when you guys finally managed to gross me out.
I also never downloaded the Sherlock fanfiction episode because I actually like that show, but the fandom creeps me right the hell out, sometimes.

Encyclopedia Dramatica was, the last time I checked it, the very nadir of the Internet, populated by people who invented their own meme-laden language designed to be hostile to other meme-laden bits of Internet language and entirely missing the irony of it.
Modern Primitive is just a thorough cataloguing of every single body modification known. Some of them are mild. Some of them are pretty extreme, and a faint sense of decency prevents me from mentioning specifics but if you hated the frenulums episode, honey, that's still not plumbing the depths of Modern Primitive. It's all in there. All of it. And I'd rather go through it again than E.D.
