Being charitable, I think he's trying to "reclaim" the swastika's original meaning.
I don't like to armchair diagnose people, but I think Skydin may have some kind of mental disorder and he's unable to realize that putting swastikas on his stuff isn't a good look.

Theodor Adorno would argue that there is no meaningful distinction between fascism and occultism under late capitalism. But from the experience of observing the kind of milieu Skydin comes from my guess is that people like him probably carry some unexamined racist beliefs ambiently as a result of being absolute philistines.
