My workplace has a holiday decoration in the cafeteria of a snowman (three body orbs, no legs, standard morphology) picking up a snowchild (three orbs plus feet, in ice skates), and all I can think about is if this is proof that snowmen have a freely-locomoting larval stage before sessile adulthood, like sea anemones
