By about 1/3 through the episode I kept finding myself pausing and going 'but why DEVIANTART of all places???' (as someone whose very early internet days were spent on that hellsite)

...as soon you moved to their wordpress and all the fucking dogboob OCs showed up, everything just snapped into crystal clear focus. in a bad way.

I actually like it, but the last time I saw it was on VHS as a kid. I'm pretty sure I'd still be into some of the elements of the movie even I don't like it.

It had a realistic-ish exposed-to-the-vacuum-of-space scene, from what I remember. They didn't explode, or anything!

Probably didn't make up for it being all blerg, though.

(Side note, The Expanse on Syfy has the best depiction of "spacing" I've ever seen.)

I know I'm way behind on this one, but I don't think it came up in the episode: the 'Project Orion' that this person is so obsessed with was an effort to design a spaceship that would launch and propel itself by dropping nuclear bombs behind itself and riding the shockwaves, and I fucking love that idea.
