You should make more of the subject food. It can only get better, right?

For three seconds when I saw the art for this episode I was like "oh, F Plus is doing scat fetish or something."

Then I realized it was the goddamn whiskey bannana

For some reason I always assumed Nutshell was from somewhere in the Midwest because she has a kinda sorta vaguely Midwesty accent. Like it reminds me of Bridget and Mary Jo from MST3K/Rifftrax.

I also feel way less nerdy for using that Kolchak image for one of my episode covers now that I know at least one ridiculist knows about that show.

The moment I heard "Share your short stories, novels, poems and more with the world," I had an inkling of where this was going.

It did not disappoint.

(Well, the ridiculists didn't disappoint. The rhymes, meter, scansion, alliteration, general use of the English language, etc... were all about as disappointing as I expected.)

"Chamber of Death" took a completely unexpected non-genocidal turn.

I confess, I am disappointed that the only way out wasn't death.

Yeah when I was editing the episode I realized I'd meant to be referencing NecroButcher - the bass player for Mayhem!

I loved this.  Live episodes with a horrifying food component are awesome.  Bad poetry is also awesome.  Really, just excellent.  I also assumed that Nutshell was from the midwest--but maybe that's just because I've heard her read too many recipes that only a midwesterner could tolerate.  That's okay.  I'm not too disappointed.  I'm sure she's still good people [heart] [yay]

I don't blame you for putting it off, but I bet the whiskeynanners would have made the poetry seem much more interesting and better written.

Alas, it was enough whiskey to make the nanners horrible, but not enough to get drunk.

Not to imply the whole whiskey banana recipe is anything but horrible, but it's worth pointing out that Andy Kadir-Buxton probably would've used scotch instead of bourbon because England.

I'm not going to personally investigate the difference between the two preparations because, much like Dr. Zira, I loathe bananas.

Jack Chick (sarcastic): "That sounds like what the police would do. 'Yeah, I think there's someone stalking me outside my window.' 'Nah, there's nobody stalking you outside your window.'"
Lemon: "'Calm down, paranoid!'"
Nutshell: "That's...pretty accurate, actually."

Yeeeep Nutshell said exactly what I was thinking.
