Anyone who's into slice-of-life/comedy type stuff should check out Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge, I'm liking it a lot so far. It's only on the third episode right now, get it while it's hot!

Whoever scored the series did a pretty good job with picking classical music to fit certain scenes

Early aughts anime trash rejoice!

FLCL
Created in 2000, FLCL told the tale of Naota, a 12-year-old boy who met a woman that would forever change his life…whether he liked it or not. Sixteen years later, Adult Swim and legendary animation studio Production I.G (Ghost in the Shell) are creating two new six-episode seasons to continue the tale, which will premiere in Adult Swim’s Toonami block. In the new season of FLCL, many years have passed since Naota and Haruhara Haruko shared their adventure together. Meanwhile, the war between the two entities known as Medical Mechanica and Fraternity rages across the galaxy. Enter Hidomi, a young teenaged girl who believes there is nothing amazing to expect from her average life, until one day a new teacher named Haruko arrives at her school. Soon enough, Medical Mechanica is attacking her town and Hidomi discovers a secret within her that could save everyone, a secret that only Haruko can unlock. Back for the new season is FLCL series creator Kazuya Tsurumaki, serving as supervisor with director Hideto Iwai (Last Dinner).

Too bad Trigger/Imaishi aren't involved too.

Resurrecting a 15 year old story notable for its brevity and originality and tripling the length sounds like the worst idea possible.

I wish Yukako was an actual character and not a monster of the week. Shame there are so few female characters in this part of Jojo, but I guess Part 4 is about the strong bonds of friendship and camaraderie between teenage boys after all.  Guess we'll just have to wait until the part 6 anime comes out.

Well then you're in luck! She will most definitely be back. In fact, that's one of the things that I love about Part IV: many of the villains aren't really 'villains' in the traditional sense, they're ordinary people with (comically exaggerated) flaws, that are exacerbated when they're given power, and this gives a lot of opportunities for interesting redemptions.

I've read part 4, it's just that Yukako doesn't really do much later besides the one episode that will happen

I've stopped following pretty much everything but whatever Trigger's doing at the moment. Kiznaiver didn't really grab me but Space Patrol Luluco is probably the closest thing to a Channel 101 show anime has ever produced.

Hadn't watched last week's episode yet HOLY SHIT INFERNO COP. Way better reveal than any Marvel movie cameo.

Hanasaku Iroha is a show that I've literally never heard anyone talk about and I really don't know why. I came across it just looking at highly-rated SOL series on MyAnimeList and while my quest for a fun bullshit anime about nothing was a massive failure, I love this show a lot. If you're looking for an emotional, angsty coming-of-age drama, I don't think there's anything I could recommend as highly as this one. I'm thirteen episodes in and I have yet to finish an episode without getting at least a little choked up if not super duper choked up. No crying yet but I can feel it coming. Don't judge me you're in this thread too, we're all accomplices in this crime against good taste
