You get the hell outta this thread!

....

Nah, I'm kidding. I haven't seen Gurren Lagann yet. I'll probably watch it soon. I like FLCL but I think people give it too much credit

Redline is still a fantastic movie, mostly because the main character drives a car called the "Trans Am 20000"

If you're an anime scumbag and you aren't watching the OP monster cockysis videos of Mother's Basement, what the hell is wrong with you (spoiler warnings on every video he's ever made, probably)

How Nichijou gets you ready to laugh

How strong is One Punch Man?

Unravelling JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (and part 2)

There's a bunch more but these are my favorites. I never would have realized just how much thought and detail is put into some OPs, I don't know how the hell he notices some of this stuff.

Also I've never seen Sword Art Online but my god I love watching him rip it to shreds. Holy shit this guy hates Sword Art Online

Those Jojo videos of his have always been favorites of mine, it's bananas how many details they fit into those things. I wonder if the new DiU OP would be a good candidate for monster cockysis?

Anyone who hasn't checked out Mob Psycho 100 yet should really get on that. It's an adaptation of another webcomic by One, the guy who did One-Punch Man. I wasn't so sure about it after the first episode (it's very well animated but it has a weird, wonky art style that put me off initially) but oh my god it just gets better and better. Episode 5 aired today and it was phenomenal. I don't think I've ever seen a series go from 0 to 100 so fast. Wow.

It's kind of a comedy/action/coming-of-age story about a kid named Mob who has crazy strong psychic powers (I'll just leave it at that, no spoilers). It's bizarre and funny and, as of episode 5, surprisingly emotional? Looking really, really good so far. More importantly, the OP is fantastic

Apparently the sequel? prequel? to Danganronpa 2 is an anime called Danganronpa 3 (not to be confused but actually yes probably to be confused with the upcoming actual game sequel, New Danganronpa V3) and it's airing in the form of two simultaneously-running story arcs, Despair and Future, which air on different days each week and each one contains spoilers for the other and also you have to play the generally not very well-liked spinoff game Ultra Despair Girls to know what's going on. I can't believe I bought and played an entire video game just so I could watch an anime but I did (at least it was pretty okay imo). When did anime start being so difficult jesus

Seconding Nozaki, it's Good.

Do you guys have any recommendations for something to watch late at night while drunk with other people? Right now we're staying up until 2am to watch JoJos and we really need something to tide us over in the two hours from midnight until that - we finished One Punch Man and hated Mob Psycho, if we can riff on it bad anime is fine too since we got through the Persona 4 one.
