I apparently used to bark in my sleep as a little kid. I haven't done that since, but I still talk, scream, yell at people and God knows what else, that's just what I know from waking myself up. I woke up on a trip once because my sister threw a pillow at me, citing in the morning that I had been smacking my lips and saying "Yeeeeah" in falsetto repeatedly. I still don't know what that was about, or how she managed to peg me square in the face from across the room.
On the other hand, when my sister was a kid, she once got up, got fully dressed, put her glasses on, crossed the house to our parents' bed, got in, and promptly went back to a normal sleep state. She was utterly confused but said she was dreaming about how she had to go outside and find all the hamsters.
My sister's girlfriend talks in her sleep constantly, but I'd have to ask before posting anything she says, it's only polite. Insane, wonderful stuff, though.
