actually music should only be sirens and car honks #noisegang

While I'm giving musical opinions, the fucking worst shit is when you see a great band live and then you go home and listen to their stuff and instead of the rad band with the drummer going apeshit and the guitaring noodling his heart out  it's just the guy just singing over some garage band level trap beat or idly strumming on his guitar like he's never used one before.

They generally aren't good, and I tend to think they are bad. But I heard a piece of music at the same time as a siren was going off in the distance. And coincidentally, that gave the siren a bit of something that it'd been missing. It wasn't a loud siren, it was very very very faint. I had to mute the music to determine if it was coming from the song or from the distance. But, damn if that low, distant, almost silent siren didn't add to the tune.

If I ruled the world, I would immediately outlaw the use of all emergency sounds and traffic noises/car honking in music and radio, effective immediately

You ever think about how we have seven point scales for both how gay you are and also how solid your poop is?

Emergency sirens are generally overused in music but sometimes a faint siren can improve a piece
