People don't fire up a Reddit/Tumblr/Twitter/Facebook F+ episode to hear us read even-keeled, well-spelled posts from sane and rational Reddit/Tumblr/Twitter/Facebook users. If you click Play on an F+ episode thinking "I'm sure this will be a balanced and reasonably fair look at the cross-section of the site's userbase as a whole, thereby enriching the listeners' appreciation for what the site can offer," you'll have to suppress the urge to write a they're-not-all-like-that post in nearly every episode thread on here.
Edit to add: Yeah, Portaxx's disclaimer in the brony episode sums it up. The de facto ambassadors for any online community are gonna be the loudest people, the people who put themselves out there the most. Unfortunately for a lot of these sites, their worst people are also usually their loudest. Goes hand in hand.
