Because it's been a really, really good show.

I like Newsreaders too, but that can be a little spotty. Children's Hospital does terrific things with its own format and tries out a whole lot of episode-specific ideas that end up largely successful.

The most recently aired episode was written by a fanfic writer, so the entirety of the episode is characters saying what they think, citing references directly out of Wikipedia, plus the episode focuses entirely around this one nurse character who has probably had like 3 lines in the whole show before then, and she brags about the traffic on her Etsy store.

Also, I really feel the cultural impact of Rio de Janeiro, which is where they are. Rio de Janeiro, you know, in Brazil.

Childrens Hospital has my favorite 9/11-centric scene.

I only watched the first (two?) seasons; I'll have to get back to it.
