1. Season 1 was brilliant, season 2 made me angry. Anyone else?

2. Who wants to know whether the Metro/DC neighborhoods actually look like they do on the show?

3. Has anyone watched the UK version? How does it compare?

I haven't seen the US version, so I can't compare them, but the original is excellent. Ian Richardson is just perfect in that role.

Why did season 2 make you angry, Cuddles? I've seen and heard that reaction before, and I don't get it. I thought season 2 was almost as brilliant as the first.

Oh, all sorts of reasons, though I'll come right out and admit that the subplots with Rachel and Freddy are the main cause of my anger. It had sort of the same effect on me that the Red Wedding had when I read ASoIaF: it just felt like a gratuitous pile of "Anyone here still got a moral compass or capacity to love someone? Yes? Great. Time to gut you like a fish."

I also just plain did not get the whole point of the ~*~cyber-hacking~*~ subplot. Though that one came with a whole lot of "COMPUTERS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY GOOD NIGHT"

Also, what the fuck are they going to do with Season 3?
