I don't think I've ever been looking at a podcast feed and had it update as I was looking at it. I'm at work but it's yahoo answers so I have to listen.
Edit: yahoo answers makes me feel better about myself. I know I'm not THAT dumb. This episode is proving that.
Also sad Boots. No :(

This should have a "how is babby deported?" tag.
Also "animated gifts".

Great to hear the episode, I forgot how fun this was!

Who in their right mind wouldn't

Oh dear, I had forgotten how stupid a lot of that was. That was a heroic attempt at reading the "penix" entry - nicely done, Frank West.
To answer Lemon's question: I wasn't searching for huge strings of question marks, but I was usually checking every search result that had inexplicable punctuation. For a while, I thought that Yahoo was automatically adding question marks to the ends of people's topics, since all the links I was getting back (questions, statements, single words, etc.) had them. After a bit, I started seeing a few that didn't, so I guess people just really like their question marks.

Well that makes it even more puzzling. What is it about Yahoo! Answers that changes people's brains so that they specifically use 8 question marks and spell baby with an extra b?

The first question has already slayed me.

From this moment on, I will be known as… the "Penix King"!

Just so you know, this episode isn't showing up on the main page of thefpl.us.
-
For me, it didn't show up when I first loaded the page, but it did after I refreshed once.

We moved servers a couple of days ago, and I think I need to look into the client caching rules I set up on it. My suspicion is that the server is sending a signal to the client of "Oh, you don't need to check for a new index file, you probably have the current one", which is fine in a lot of cases, but doesn't work for the home page.

I specifically searched for "babby" so I could find out how it's been doing since its run-in with instain mother some years back. Sorry about your deportation, babby.
I was thinking that maybe Yahoo! Answers had a filter that reduced enormous strings of question marks down to 8 so that people's posts didn't fill the screen with punctuation, but I just found one with 10 (https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090813121237AAvyLM1). I'm stumped on that one.

Wasn't Penix the brother of Odysseus? I think I remember his name from The Odyssey.
