You know if you read that link in the right frame of mind, they might just be saying they're taking the site down because the F Plus made fun of them.

If we had any sort of hand in this, it could only be from exposing just how many creeps, rambling self-absorbed teens, and full-blown legitimately insane people use the site for the benefit and betterment of absolutely nobody. Even the best-case scenarios involve mostly uninteresting and pointless non-stories typed into a void—stories which nobody read and even fewer people asked for in the first place.
Like the EP owner listened to our two episodes about the site, looked down at their hands, and went "Oh my God... they're right. They're right about
everything." Then they lifted the glass and hit the big red palm-sized button by their mouse.
