Another podcast that I listen to has a running feud with Alex Jones and one of his myrmidons, a blubbering moron named Dan Bidondi who is best known for showing up at a press conference after the Boston Marathon bombing and asking the Governor of Massachusetts if the bombing was a false flag. Bidondi also has a hilarious voice, and one of the podcast hosts does a great impression of both Jones and Bidondi. I don't blame you at all for picking Super Male Vitality, Boots, but the FAQ for Liver Shield had this wonderful passage that basically sums up the whole snake-oil aspect of the site plus some great raw foods shit:

I couldn't get her to fully understand that that isn't exactly your corner market until the show started with balls to the wall politician rpf from Jersey and by then it was too late. "It's not necessarily like that," I said. "It's worse. They get gross. They get really weird. Banned from 4chan weird. You don't understand. It's not all astral weddings. There may be semen." I told her that it would be ok if she, you know, stayed home. Didn't go. Did not do this. Nope. She thought nothing would faze her.
It ended up not really being her bad internet area of expertise. tl dr she expected my universe is your universe's therapist, not snoot by the foot.

My guess is that the damning factor for climate change is that it's well spread, common knowledge (whether commonly accepted or not) and backed by Mysterious Scientists and at least SOME government officials. Since it's a big deal, a mainstream deal, and something the common person knows about, it has to be a Big Government Lie. It's only The Truth if the government doesn't actually care about it (read: is hiding it) and the average Joe hasn't heard about it (read: cannot disprove it.)

Because if you accept climate change as a real thing, then it has actual, actionable steps and you'd have to make real changes in your life and that's uncomfortable. For conspiracy theories like THE ILLUMINATI, it's a huge force that you personally can't fight against, so all you do is "spread the word, wake the sheeple", which means posting on the internet a lot and putting a bumper sticker on your car.

Yeah, Obama/scientists are liars because of course they are, and by extension climate change is a lie.
I think a lot of them probably subscribe to the idea that they saw snow once so it can't be true. It's just not a really easy thing to see if you don't want to read a scientific report or believe the obviously corrupt leftist news that tell you all about it. You can't see it happening so it's not. At the very least, why would you fight something that's not obvious when you can literally see the chemtrails appearing above you? Even if they are right about it, that's hundreds of years away so why should it concern you?
Climate change hasn't got a person or group to blame and accuse either. Even if you do accept it's happening, you can't just blame some politician or something. It can't be directly fought with guns, and you can't have a revolution against the atmosphere. To deal with it, they're asking you to change your way of life, swap your truck for a prius and start recycling.
The people telling you about it aren't the people you'd trust. It's not something you can easily identify yourself, nor is it likely to affect you. Fighting against it is uncomfortable and requires you actually doing something rather than just inciting hatred and scamming people even dumber than you.
To accept it and still be a part of the crazy conspiracy cult, you'd need to warp it unrecognisably.

I've heard bad things about it, but I've heard only bad things about the public transportation in Haifa in general.
Also, I'm an idiot, it doesn't say Matronit at all, it's just a misspelling of Metatron in Hebrew and not a stupid Kaballah term I found out about recently. It's amusingly enough spelled in a way that'd be transliterated as Meatatron or Mitatron though.

I posted these on the Extra Credit Discord, but not everyone's on there, so I figured I'd put them up here. There have been two recent articles about Alex Jones' supplement business. One of them (warning: shirtless Alex Jones pic) does the math (http://nymag.com/selectall/2017/05/how-does-alex-jones-make-money.html) and figures out that most of his revenue probably comes from his supplements. The other is more of a look at Dr. Edward Group (https://jezebel.com/alex-jones-and-his-pill-pushing-chiropractor-are-here-t-1794383993), the chiropractor who backs up Jones (and who may not even have a Bachelor's degree, despite his claims of great educational achievement).

What if he's talking about modern day lead, when we just refer to graphite as lead - does he mean it'll make his dick brittle and break easily? Also, it's super cheap and easily replaced?

That's actually backwards. The graphite in pencils was originally called lead because people's knowledge of chemistry centuries ago was lacking, and they thought that this gray stuff was some kind of lead ore. The name stuck only in that context; you will not find any other use of graphite where people call it lead.
