The F Plus does not condone betting on outcomes, which is a crime.

If you were to bet on outcomes, you could give one point for every correctly guessed finalist, and either 2 or 4 points for correctly guessing the winner. You could then lobby other attendees at the event to vote for the winners you have preselected. The F Plus wouldn't condone any of that.

On game day, you are at least going to spell check my name, right?  I mean it won't matter since I'm in the Frank West bracket, but I'd at least like to have my name spelled correctly on my tombstone.

Hello I have listened to this podcast for ages and never posted here in my life.

Finally, you're somewhere I have free lodging. Hooray.

How much could I hypothetically bet, if I were a criminal, on only Kumquatxop.

Hypothetically, if it came to it, how much would you pay me to take a fall against Kumquat?

I mean it might, in theory, be not very much.

Been looking at how to get around Portland. Is Zipcars ok? Is it one of those Silicon valley nightmare things?

I have a zipcar membership and here is why I don’t recommend it: you have to wait for a special keycard to come in the mail. Plus, it is a bit more expensive than using rideshare. Unless you have to haul something, I would recommend any rideshare app instead.

The public transit is pretty cheap and robust from what I recall. But if you have luggage there's definitely rideshare.

And also the traffic is still awful, according to my brother.

This is accurate. For real, any non-car related method of transportation is likely to be your best bet. Traffic is god awful no matter who's driving.

well so traffic in portland is the opposite of bad traffic everywhere else. everyone here is a PASSIVE driver. it is not uncommon for 4 cars to arrive at a 4 way stop and then just nothing fucking happens for several seconds.

public transit is perfectly adequate, and the city is mostly flat so its not too bad to get around on a bike for most destinations.
