Ever been curious about what crimes were committed in hit songs? (http://songcrimes.libsyn.com/website) Real Actual Genuine Attorney Cheapskate and Cursed Ridiculist Jimmyfranks are here to help.
It's a cool idea for a podcast, and another sign that one day Lemon will be able to buy and sell those cheap chiselers at Earwolf.
-
I'll give you three Nick Krolls for one Brett Gelman.
-
Lemon, this is the last time I'm going to tell you, come get these boxes of worthless Matt Bessers out of my house.
-
Episode 2 is traffic court (http://songcrimes.libsyn.com/case-file-02-traffic-court?tdest_id=568398) and features the Beach Boys, Johnny Cash, and Sammy Hagar.
-
I think this show deserves it's own subforum.
-
Do you guys mind publishing the podcast on google play (https://play.google.com/music/podcasts/publish?u=0#)?
I only get my podcasts through giant conglomerates who steal to which I give all my money and information.

Is it going to be songcrim.es or do we wait for some notable in-joke to pop up and make that the forum name?

There are no plans for a forum at this time. Right now I barely have enough time for recording/editing and other IRL stuff, moderating a forum doesn't tickle my fancy. That said, depending on how long the show goes on before we start running out of material/repeating ourselves and if there seems to be sufficient interest, never say never I guess.
-
You do, and it's war.
Forum war.
-
And if you'd like to participate in a forum war you can go to songcrim.es!

Already send in a couple of suggestions!
Not surprisingly, both Iron Maiden songs.

Psst... guys... I think the wrong description got posted for episode four. ^^; The file itself is about housing law and landlord/tenant relations, but the description says it's about more misdemeanors and doesn't have the right songs listed.
Enjoying the show a ton, by the way! :D

Sorry, I was hacked by N. Korea and some people got spoilers on next week's episode. should be fixed now. Thanks for listening!

I think you guys may have overlooked another pertinent line in the Beastie Boys segment, when the parents threaten to kick the Beastie Boys out if they don't cut their hair. Sounds housing-related to me!
