This was a good episode. That kid complaining about his classmates was rightfully infuriating.

The intro was good, but am I missing some context? It seems like something that could have been said before any episode ("hey, we may be jerks, but we aren't trolls or trying to suppress anyone"). Was there an actual incident or public accusation that I missed?

AFAIK, that comment is partially because of the presidential election, and partially because there's a specific, small, awful part of our fanbase that was whipped into extra action by the election results. I can't really go into more detail because I don't actually have any of the facts, but it's nobody that posts here.

Really, I'd expect any community based on a personality test result to become insufferable.  At least with fandoms, you have whatever dumb thing you all like to talk about; with personality tests, all you have is your stupid self, and you're all supposedly alike, so it just turns into a contest of who can become the biggest caricature.

This has me wondering if there's a subreddit for people of the various astrological signs and how annoying/entertaining that might be.
