Cells at Work! is a manga/anime series about anthropomorphized cells in the human body, and how they function and do their job!!! (https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/htrksb.jpg) Main characters are a white blood cell and a red blood cell, and it follows their wacky hi jinks as the body they are in is attacked by invaders such as viruses and pollen!!! Its a very chill show (despite the decent amount of blood[the cells also bleed, dont think about it too much]) and very enjoyable!

I am currently watching it on crunchyroll (since i already have a subscription) https://www.crunchyroll.com/cells-at-work/ currently all episodes besides 10 are available to non premium members, but you could also find it on a free streaming site too i suppose.

It's sounds like that kids show I watched in the late 80's. I think it was European?
