I wrote this in December of 2007 after taking in a thread on PoE-news where people were arguing about ratings battles over on poeTV, which I found immensely amusing at the time. Because I was bored, this manifested in me wanting to write a brief piece of fanfiction about little red stars. For some reason, I decided to write it in the style of HP Lovecraft. I dunno. Here it is, for posterity.

Forum politics aside, that's pretty impressive. Do you often spontaneously write things in the style of Lovecraft?

I write things, but this is the only time I attempted to imitate HP Lovecraft. Robert E. Howard is a much more fun early-20th-century pulp author to mimic, I've found.
