When I saw on twitter that a gofundme episode was coming to us, I didn't think it would be so confusing.

I recognize that people were asking to be given money, possibly for stated reasons, but I feel like the comparison to a crazy street person really applies to most of what was heard. Almost all of them gave off less a vibe of 'give me money for cause' and more 'if I confuse/frighten you enough you will give me money to escape'.

A Meat:
Searching for stuff for this doc was emotionally draining, since for every crazy garbage project that made its way into the doc, there were nine important causes and people who do deserve charity (as well as a bunch of causes I don't think deserve charity, but are wrong for the F+ format or personal opinion).

Also the site is garbage and is formatted like garbage, and you couldn't copy and paste the backer rewards for some stupid reason, so the once or twice it's in the doc, I had to peer into the source and copy the text from there.

It is a good site if you want to accidentally stumble upon people making accidentally public requests for money that are clearly intended for a very small and selected audience.
