if it makes you feel any better, we didn't have a forum yet when that happened, but I had noticed.  even so, the last time Portaxx was gone any longer than a couple episodes was when she was sick.  I'm just a bitter cranky old man who gets all catywampus when my ridiculists don't stay regular.
