Probably the wildest thing about creepypasta to me is that there was inevitably a SyFy show that just did season length adaptations of famous creepypastas, it ran for 4 seasons, and 3 of those are actually really fucking good. One season has a powerhouse performance from John Carroll Lynch, one season is a wild mediation on mental health with Rutger Hauer as a scenery chewing cannibal, ones like a splatstick horror comedy about evil imaginary friends acting as Stands, and the other is... really bad and produced by Max Landis. We don't talk about that one.
