The end of the episode got more hilarious and less soul-crushing, thanks to that Guy Fieri bit. I lost it completely. Kumquat's commentary on a guy doing a jerk-off motion in real life so said guy could do a jerk-off motion in-game also made me laugh out loud in an empty room.

I really like the title of this episode, too. "Cruft" is a tech word I kind of like that I don't hear very often ("rejected Ubuntu versions: Crufty Caterpillar") and it sounds like "crust" which is relevant to this episode.

I think it is really nice that these people have self selected themselves out of the gene pool, most of them will probably plug themselves into their sex holes and forget to eat, problem solved, humanity is better for it. Also I imagine the next thing, if it's not out there already, is that they'll start to try and mod the teledildonic fleshlights. Who wants to start a pool on when the first guy will turn his motors up too high and the thing will rip his wang off? I give it three months.

The other thing is that VR is just getting started and I think it could develop into some pretty cool experiences in the future, as the price comes down and the software gets better.
