Dad bought me a "Love is Love" rainbow spatula for Hanukkah one year, which was very cute. I second this suggestion.
Pro tip: if you get gay married, a lot of straight people will buy you more expensive kitchenware too

I don't think it was intentionally for pride month, but it happened on the first day of it - a couple of my friends got together and organised a make-up crash course for me entirely of their own volition. They gave me a bunch of supplies and taught me the super bare-bones-basics. Might be literally the best gift I've ever been given! So yeah, worked for me can vouch!

Today I hosted a book club as the first activity the lgbt employee resource group gets to put on. We read a third of Gender Euphoria, a collection of essays about the trans experience, and it was really cool to have a conversation Gender StuffTM with a bunch of folks with really different experiences.

TBH, I haven't done anything for pride this year. I keep missing events because I'm too busy. And I also feel more disappointed in myself than proud this year.

Definitely get that! Last year I missed all the pride events after coming out though, so I wanted to do something here this year, at least. Funnily enough, I am planning on going to some pride events but they're in July and August. So maybe I'll just post about them then, if I can go, because why not!

Goodbye pride month I didn't do anything specifically for you or get to go to any events but I did have a lot of really great and affirming experiences throughout the month and get told by my doctor next time I see him I can get a progesterone prescription so for next pride month I might have fat tits and really that's what it's all about

HELLO SO I'M FINALLY GOING TO POST MY PICTURES FROM THE TWIN CITIES PRIDE FESTIVAL BACK IN JUNE HERE THEY ARE
But yeah, it was a blast! A bunch of booths and vendors and performances and I got to strut my bisexual ass around and just soak it all in. I got a bunch of nice stuff:
And…I also went to my first actual pride parade on the 10th, the Queer Cabaret in Austin, and I had a blast! Sure, it was very corporate and it was goddamn hot but I don’t care, I yelled my lungs out and flapped my little pride flags and it was wonderful. And there were a lot of great orgs there that aren’t corporations! And I got a bunch of swag thrown at me, including beads! It was like Mardi Gras but…well okay, it was just about as queer as Mardi Gras.
I know I may be making too big of a deal of this, but it made me really happy to go to actual pride stuff after coming out!
