Speaking as (i think?) one of the younger listeners (21), and also someone who was just completely obsessed with thomas growing up, the fat controller/topham hat reference made me literally cheer IRL. It was this beautiful intersection of my childhood and abject horror.

Update: I beat starscourge radahn in elden ring for the first time while listening to this episode so.........yay, I guess. Now i will permanently associate one of the most iconic elden ring moments with this shit
