Your metaphor is upside-down, Chrome has its own Flash engine built in, and it's the only one that chose to do so.

However, I just opened up the page in Opera and got the same message.

The instructors are personable. The challenges so far are pretty simplistic (from what I understand the difficulty ramps considerably). Also its on sale for $10, so if you can afford it and are interested, why not?

I've been using Gamemaker, which is great for 2D games and rapid prototyping, but little else. So my ultimate scope would be to broaden into 3D development and maybe applications.

Still, it doesn't technically require me to install a 3rd party add-on.

Do you need any help with C# itself? I have only used Unity a little bit but I spend a lot of time tutoring new programmers. I'm not a C# expert but I know most of the languages C# shamelessly plundered features from. (Java, Haskell, Icon, Prolog, and so on.)

I also admin for a gamedev chatroom I could give you the details for, although most of the users there are more into Game Maker.

I tried every browser I have. It wants me to install Unity Web Player, so I did.  Then I tried the page again, and it still asks me to install Unity Web Player, so I did again.  I tried the page a third time, same message.

Boring game, jack.  Limited replay value.  Two stars.
