If you ever see Jed York, would you kindly punch him in the mouth for me?

I have no intention of paying 40 bucks to go inside cosplay hell, as tempting as it is for the sheer masochism of it. They're just crawling all over the city, making it whiter and more anime.

Bleh!  Don't pay money for that.  You can probably walk inside the convention center for free, and they'll only check your badge if you decide to go into panels or the dealer's room.  Better yet, you can spectate from outside the convention center, where their noxious sweat will dissipate into the air.

I find nerd conventions to be a fun people-watching experience, and usually there's someone selling sci-fi and fantasy books so that's a plus, but if you have to pay to get in it's not worth it.

I fell asleep with my podcasts app on and I had a weird dream where I was in the middle of a mall yelling "YEAH, YEAH, YEAH, UGH---well...YEAH" and having to apologize because I had been listening to the F Plus.

It's normal to sometimes dream about being Kumquatxop. It can even be fun.

I really like some Dragon Ball but there are so many subgenres it's hard to navigate. I can't stand the screamo stuff.

Sometimes, when I'm bored, I invent fake superheroes with really terrible superpowers and I imagine how that would work out. Syndactyly woman (who can fuse and unfuse her fingers and toes) and Whistle Dog (a dog that can whistle somewhat competently) try to stop Googly-eye Man, who can see out of googly eyes.

Just a particular set of Googly-eyes, or all Googly-eyes in existence?  Because the latter sounds workable if he was willing to put the time in.

The office I work at is right next door to a kind of questionable investment group. The type that don't ever seem to do much of anything and you can't really tell how many people are working there, but most of the people you do see are just a bit too slick to be trustworthy.

They moved out yesterday, very abruptly; all their stuff just gone late that afternoon. It's probably completely innocent and they just moved offices, but with the stories my co-workers had about them it does feel weirdly shady, like we were just witnesses to some sort of organized crime setup packing up and vanishing into the night.

Mostly I just thought their secretary was cute, but now that they're gone there's a lot of 'now that I think about it' going on.
