There's nothing less useful than a person going "always had a bad feeling about them" or "never liked them anyways" whenever someone is revealed to have done something that is morally objectionable to any degree. Like, good job turning this thing to being about you and how ideologically and morally free of sin you are. Doesn't help that people have this reaction both to like, actual abusers, and like, people who are slightly differently leftist or who don't agree with some kind of fandom consensus
