I feel compelled to speak up on behalf of kefir. It is actually a normal food that you can buy in grocery stores. It's kind of like a drinkable yogurt and it's good for people who are lactose intolerant because the bacteria used to ferment it process a lot of the lactase in the milk before you drink it.
